honeymoon at workplace!?

i just started working for an IT firm.. but apparently i just sit and when i ask if we have anything to do or work.. they would say that this is the honeymoon period of your work enjoy... Weird thing right... romantic name at the workplace...hahaha

In my opinion,they are giving you a break so you can learn the ropes how things work there so yes enjoy before they pull you back to the real world full of pressure and deadlines.
