Why I Am Inactive

For a week I have been almost completely inactive on Mylot.Not because I lack time.Not because I have been busy.Not because I am feeling unwell.I have been inactive because my keyboard has gone out of order.
I bought a new keyboard from Amazon,but the new keyboard also is not functioning well.Don't know what to do.Would you please suggest me a way out? It has taken me more than 20 minutes to type this short discussion.

if it is a new keyboard, better check or have somebody check the port where you plug it in, it's also possible that the keyboard you bought is also broken so check it on another computer, the first keyboard might not be broken if both works fine on another unit

@louievill,I didn't know what to do.Today a friend of mine came,pressed scroll lock and my problem was solved.I am a big zero in computer technology.

@else34 very good, at least next time you know what to do, the older keyboard might be fine so just use it as spare

If you are using laptop, just buy the external USB keyboard, that is what I am using right now.

OH my gosh. I don't know how to fix a keyboard, are there keys sticking or is it more than that? I hate to even ask questions when it's so hard for you to type.

@CinonnamonGrl,I didn't know anything about it.Fortunately one of my friends has a good understanding of computer and he solved my problem today.All he did was press the scroll lock button and now the keyboard is functioning well.

@Jessicalynnt,It's not functioning.I can't type with it.If you want to type a letter,you'd have to press the key for more than ten times.

Similar thing is happening with me. Mine keyboard is typing many letters twice.
