Have you ever been on top of the Sears Tower in Chicago? I went to the top one time. I’ve been to Chicago dozens of times. Once we ate dinner in the restaurant on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building in Chicago and we could see the Sears Tower out of the window. We could also see the Navy Pier and look down on Lakeshore Drive. I was surprised to learn that the Sears Tower was completed in 1942, so next year, it will be 75 years old.

I visited the Tower in 2003. I didn't go too near the edge, even with the glass in the way!

I have a friend who is afraid of heights and she doesn't even like for me to talk about it.

Alice! You are making me feel like I've never been anywhere! LOL. No I haven't been to Chicago either. It seems like an exciting city, would love to go for the culture. And to hear the blues! I'm not crazy about heights, but in a well protected building like that, I'm sure I'd enjoy looking out the window. Sounds like an awesome view.

Well, I decided about two weeks ago that I would start writing about places I have visited and places that I would like to visit. I actually have been to a LOT of places in my 70+ years. As I mentioned before, I'm writing on myLot for fun but I'm saving all my articles in my documents and I'm getting ready to publish them in a book for my grandchildren so that they will have my "MEMIORS.'
