Cortisone blues

It seems like a common reaction to joint injections, but the pain shouldn't last much longer. If it goes much more than about 36 hours I'd follow up with the doctor. I hate getting the SI joint injections I have because of the way I feel after the shots, but once it goes away the relief lasts a lot longer than anything else. Sometimes the initial pain can be worth it... But of course that's something you have to weigh for yourself.

I am so sorry you are going through that, shots aren't fun and cortisone are some of the worst. Hope you heal quickly.
