One more before I put the keyboard away and concentrate on reading. This one is my current look at some of the funny, punny, or cool titles of albums I own. I don't own this one anymore, but I did own it, and the title is a hoot.
#7: Angst In My Pants - Sparks
I mentioned the other day that Elton John has a couple of album titles that could make this list. Sparks has a number of album titles that could also be here. This album was preceded by Whomp That Sucker. Then there was 1994's Gratuitous Sax and Senseless Violins. Or 1974's Kimono My House.
But I chose Angst in My Pants because, despite the fact that Sparks has been around since 1971, this was the first time I had actually heard them. Their techno sound helped them get some hits, including "Mickey Mouse" (linked below) and the duet with the Go-Go's' Jane Wiedlin, "Cool Places."
The title is a play on "ants in my pants," but even without that pun the title would still be pretty good.
And the album cover -- mustached Ron Mael dressed as the bride while his clean-shaven brother Russell is the groom -- is good, too.

Understandable. They are a fun band. Still around, too.
