I kind of miss the topic filter here in Mylot

When I joined mylot several years ago, the discussions were filtered into different topics like, Travel, Country, Music, Television, Movies, etc. so it would be easier to find discussions that you are interested in. I guess the long hiatus I have with mylot would need more time to get used to this new format. There was also a filter before per country which is kind of good because other topics you want to discuss would be more interestingto your fellow country men. Anyway, I hope I get used to this new format very soon.

Glad to know there is someone who shares my sentiments. I also hope for this feature back but in any case, I am still pretty happy that I am back in mylot to have more interesting discussions and at the same time make money.

@lealuvy2j I like the current earning system better than the one in old Mylot.
At least we have passive income now.
In the old Mylot, you get paid upfront, but once you do not login, the earnings stop.

Yeah, but the problem is that people kept making topic icon over topic icon, you never know which one is mostly visited by mylotters. This time, you get to see them all and choose your liking. you can always follow those who are active and living in the country, unfortunately, some did not bother to put their location.

Just a thought. Maybe mylot can use a verified topic icon which means it is the topic mostly visited by mylotters? But yeah, I do remember some problems about making topic icon over topic icon. Nevertheless, I guess it is just me trying to get used to the new myLot.

yeah, there were too many topics but very similar. now, i just maximize the 5 tags allowed.

@lealuvy2j the problem with the old mylot, when the topic icon is made, they seemed to have allowed others to make the same icon, which should not happen. the old mylot is gone, took me a while to get it back.

I miss them too because I remember I was able to make obsolete categories relevant and I am also able to make my own categories that became relevant.

And when you are a top commenter in a topic, you are more likely to have more followers and get to interact with more people. Maybe mylot would return that feature in the future but so far so good, mylot is still great for me

Yes I agree. Members should not make their own categories because creating a topic over another topic is not helping finding the topic you are indeed interested in.
