What does this represent to us? We are definitely not going to hit the malls or even the movies. Is there a sense of accomplishment, I'm not really sure. Many mylotters double or triple that amount every month. Myself, never made it. The only time I got a payout was during the "payouts at $1" month. I was just thinking, okay feeling bad, that I won't make payout this month. Then, I thought why am I placing so much value on $5? Unresolved self esteem issues, has crossed my mind!!

I just hoard it together with my earnings from my voiceover jobs from Voices. I just watch my Paypal account grow and I will touch the money in case of emergencies.

No, five dollars isn't much, and I often don't make it to that in a month, but it's nice to get a little extra.

Same here. I'm putting in more effort since reaching $4, but not counting on making payout this month.

It's just fun here! Don't stress on the $5, you'll cash out when you're ready!

I think it's because it takes so long that we put so much into it. It's silly really. I am going to try not to fall into that too much when I return here for good. I know it's fun to myLot but I don't want to be a penny pincher for it really. I just want to enjoy.

In the world of online freelance writing, $5 is pretty good these days! At least we know we're going to get it if we put in the time.
