Friday a guy stopped by to see if I should get meals on wheels. It seems they really take care of elderly and kids food here in Florida. no one obviously goes hungry unless they are to lazy or embarrassed to ask.
I told him I wasn't sure as there are others out there less fortunate but he was adamant that the government wanted to make sure disabled and elderly were well fed .
So I am really looking forward to what they send as this way I won't have to worry if I don't find anything in the kitchen I can just warm up.
So now hopefully with food stamps grand daughter in law gets and food I am bringing in, it will free up more money for all the bills everyone keeps falling behind on and I end up having to pay in order to have a roof over my head and essentials of life
anyone know anything about what they bring?
Then, I was just wondering this morning why doctors seem to stop giving shots right there in the office for infections, etc. like they used to so you don't end up having to pay a hospital bill in the end. but that's another topic. Grandson is a great help around here even though he has not found a job yet as he will take out garbage, has mowed the lawn, etc. where daughters bf, Clay still does nothing
So tomorrow they may deliver meals if I understood them right. hopefully.

This is a very good project.though I never see it around here. But I heard a lot about it.Some people are too proud to ask.
Now with the food pantry popping all over the place.Maybe this is good for them if they can do the cooking?
I do not know. For me if I know that someone is in need. You can bet that I will find help for them.

exactly and it is helpful to me because it seems I am the one usually buying all the toilet paper, detergents, trash bags, etc. no one seems to care

@bunnybon7 ......Sounds like life around here. It's been almost too quiet for quite a long time now.

yes I know. not nearly as upset at grandson yet as I am the forever moocher, but am getting a bit agitated about his not trying harder. just because he is less lazy don't make me feel much better.
