I am always nice to those I interact with on the phone. I know that they are just doing their job and if there is a problem it is the companies fault NOT theirs. I have two friends who work at home on their computers and have to deal with a lot of rotten customers.

I don't work on the phone...in-fact i don't even like talking on the phone with people I know...I am more of a texting person...which is why when I have complaints... I use email. I prefer having a written proof of my conversation... I do live in India after all.
But yeah, when I do talk on the phone with customer care, 90% of the time they are helpful.... so I don't see why I should be any form of rude to them.
You know sometimes it happens that we call the customer care and one operator answers and we call a second time and its another operator... sometimes customers get frustrated because the first operator might not have been helpful.

Well I usually just complain if it is warranted. If the service is good, people don't have a reason to complain. Who do you work for if you don't mind me asking?

It's been years since I've work in a call center and I don't miss it. All those angry customers, I remember some conversations though which is why I am happy that I just earn online now.
