I have had luck with TV lately. Early I saw Young Victoria and just now finished watching "The lover" after a book by Marguerite Duras.
Watching TV is very relaxing and I find myself forgetting all the problems I had earlier in the day.
Now I am really ready for sleep.
Do you use TV sometimes to switch off from your problems?

I have my reading at my night table. But when I get caught by a movie on TV like yesterday, I forget the book. Last night´s movie was one I had never seen. I had read the book and found the movie gave me the background of Saigon, where the story developped.

@marguicha My eyes get more tired watching the TV than reading.

When I want to sleep, I watch reruns. I do it now that I live alone. They keep me company.

@marguicha I try not to watch anything too serious, although I sometimes watch forensics or other true crime stories. A night or so ago, I watched step brothers. that was a riot.
