Talent comes in many forms

Talent comes in many forms. While we were away, we saw 'installations' for want of a better word, of iron cut-outs depicting rural scenes.
We came across these in small country towns and in the middle of nature reserves, some of which would be visited by very few people. We sometimes came across them while looking for a camping spot for the evening. Some were situated at the site of former railway sidings or small schools. Mostly they were stand-alone, one-dimensional cut-outs.
I loved all of them and took photos of as many different ones as I could. Most had an explanatory plaque next to them. I can't recall the details of the last one but it depicted the demise of the 'family farm'. Whereas there had once been x farms in the area, most had been absorbed and amalgamated into a few much bigger farms run by companies rather than by families. Signs of the times.
But don't you think this is talented work?

I suppose art is seen in different ways - I think its great that they lend a hand to such art forms - the silhouette forms that toss shadows can be very interesting to view. I loved the ballroom dancing duo - their shadow on the back wall was lovely - that would catch my eye.

So creative. I have always wish to be talented and creative like other people, but I just don't have it.

I really enjoyed your photos, a lot of them appear to be made by the same person. Do you know who that would be? I looked on line to see who I can find but no luck. That's a lot of art and so interesting.

@JudyEv Nice, one thing I like when I go to the ocean, is people who craft amazing castles out of sand.

@JudyEv I am sure he uploads an image to a machine, that then lasers out the un needed bits, then he cleans it up and welds it into it's final formation. Still, it takes talent and an eye for that sort of thing

@Jessicalynnt That's sounds logical. He must draw it first somehow.

I'm not sure how he cuts the metal as there are no sharp edges. I wonder if he uses a laser cutter of some sort. I can't get over how he knows which little bits to cut out to show the creases in trouser legs and to highlight the dress of the dancer etc.
