Good afternoon. When I was in my younger age.Always hated Sunday. Now my question is.Is Sunday the first day of the week or last. I cannot keep this in my head about Sunday. Want your reaction to this. Happy Monday. Photo is mine.THE Sky

I do not know what Sundays are, but for me they are a good excuse for my vices. They tell me I drink to much, I just say, "Only on Sundays. They tell me I complain to much, "Only on Sundays." They say I listen to my music to loud, "Only on Sundays." I blame Sundays for everything for all the right reasons. lol

Sunday is the first day of the new week, but when we are working I think all of us consider Monday the beginning of the week.

The photo is very cool, quite dramatic and very nice! I think of Sunday as the last day of the week, because it was the last before I had to go back to work. If it's the week END, then that includes both Saturday and Sunday. And it's got END in it, so there ya go..

To me every day is Sunday - I don't really care if it's the first or the last of the week.

@amadeo The idea of being retired is to not live by a schedule - to do what needs to be done of course, but then to have fun the rest of the day. Most retired people I know don't live by a schedule.

To me, Sunday is the first day of the week. I hated Sunday too when I was young as I had to dress properly like a little lady and could not play in the dirt.

I suppose I see it as the last day of the week. Calendars are often printed with Sunday as the first day.
