Raining today in my City

I live in New Delhi, capital of India. My city is known for its winters. we get rained out rarely but it does happen for one day at a time, depending upon the heaviness of monsoon. But here is one thing that I like less, people always say that 'the weather got better'; or 'The weather got worse' when it doesn't rain fully and the humidity is still intact. I love how little children celebrate the rains, using their paper boats, playing in the rain until their mothers pull them in the house. I enjoyed the rain when I was in school and for a while in college. It was a magic phenomenon for me. Everything looks so green and clean after the rains. Today, it is an inconvenience since I commute through a motorcycle, I have to wait till the rain subsides. This is a side effect of growing up; because I remember that once in the first year of college, I reached college drenched and in fact my professor( who was very strict about attendance) told me I needn't had to come that day. And I didn't even had a bike then. I walked till I got a lift on another two wheeler. There were no classes that day, looked like a Sunday, and maybe was declared a rainy day. P.S. My college was not in Delhi. It was in a city famous for its rains.
