So I was a Fan... But Apparently He's a Jerk

What makes a particular actor one of your favorites? Is it a display of brilliant, seemingly flawless acting, regardless of the role or circumstances? For some people, this might be true. However, I'm not much of an acting critic. My favorite actors are not necessarily the best actors. I mostly love the actors who play characters whom I really like. Sadly, it seems that one of my favorite (used to be favorite?) actors is something of a jerk in real life. Of course I could be wrong. To be fair, I've never actually met him. It's like this. I was following Scott Baio on Twitter. I loved Chachi from Happy Days and Charles from Charles in Charge. So, anyway, I was following Scott Baio on Twitter. Scott supports Trump and Tweets in support of him quite a bit. One time, and one time only, I responded to one of Scott's tweets about Trump. In said tweet I stated that I didn't like Hillary or Trump. I said something to the effect of Trump is no better than Hillary. That's all I said, and I left it at that. I did not resort to calling Scott by any nasty or derogatory names, as I notice some people do when disagreeing about politics. I have never tweeted to Scott before or after that. Yesterday, while on Twitter, I noticed that I hadn't seen any tweets from Scott Baio in several days, so I visited his profile page and I'M BLOCKED! I don't understand that. All I did was disagree with him once. I've never met him. He doesn't know me. I responded to just one tweet of his, in which I disagreed with him about Trump, but did not say anything mean or nasty to him, and now I'm blocked. What a nice guy... Geesh! I guess I should have known better though. It seems that disagreeing about religion or politics never fails to put a wedge between peoples. Perhaps someday we will live in a world where we can disagree with one another about such things as politics and religion, yet still get along.

You were a fan so that means one fan down, he would be losing a lot of fans if he continous to act that way considering the number of people engrossed in politics, fans that might have views that does not jive with his

Scott Baio is a jerk. He don't seem to be very smart. Not if he is supporting someone bad. Crazy. And you did not say anything bad. To block you was very stupid on his behalf.

Some people won't accept any opinions that differ from their own. Yes, he's a jerk.

That is ridiculous for him to block you just for giving your opinion. I guess he must be a bit of a jerk. I guess he showed that side of himself. It seems like a childish thing to do. I was a bit surprised by this too because I always liked him too but it makes me look at him differently now.

I think it's really sad that some people feel the need to behave that way.

@miniam I was replying to her discussion and talking about Scott Baio being a jerk by blocking her after her comment. I am not sure what you are talking about. :(
