We are witnesses of today's situation where health is becoming a very big concern for many people and families. In my estimate, every four families, at least one of them is diagnosed with an illness. Due to a lot of factors, many are suffering from illness. This gives us the motivation and lesson to work on our health by taking steps toward achieving health. I think many of us are going for exercise, eating a balanced diet, and other means. Some says that if you don't have time to exercise, you will have time to get illness soon. So, what steps are you doing to gain health?

Certainly we all need to take care of our health. I need to get off this computer and do a bit more exercise myself.

@ValueAdder I don't have the very best diet and exercise routine. I go through phases where I eat really well and exercise every day. Then I go through phases where my diet will suck and I work out. Or I will eat well and not exercise lol it's all over the place but a good diet and exercise is a good thing for everyone to do.

Eat well, exercise and sleep early. Ever since I became a mother, I realized health is really important to us, though I knew that much earlier. I have always been eating healthy food since I was young, but I did not have enough exercise. Now, I bring my children to the park every day, at least I have some walks as exercise. I also started to do yoga practice every morning, and hopefully to go jogging whenever possible too. I used to stay up very late and it really deteriorated my health. I just started to sleep early after becoming a mother, and my health has been much better.

It's good to take care of the things we can control for our health. Specially when there are loved ones depending on us. Thank you for sharing.

@ValueAdder A lot . 1000 mg of Vit. C , 400 IU of E , 1200 mg of calcium with magnezium and zinc , B1 , 6, 12 and fish oil . This is because at age 38 i had a forced menopause because i had my Total Abdominal Hysterectomy . So far , it makes me healthy and i am so thankful i seldom get sick nor catch colds and cough , in my 50's .

Unfortunately, no matter what one does, one can still develop something. My husband eats healthy foods and works out at a gym regularly, yet he developed spinal stenosis and is recovering from surgery.

I've started a diet and exercise program. I'm in the pool every day or as often as I can be and it's helping.

A diet and exercise program is good. What kind of pool are you in every day? Swimming pool, billiard pool, flag pool?

It is important to get enough insurance coverage for both critical illnesses and healthcare. As we live longer, our body will get weaker and we will have many sort of illnesses surfacing. If we do not have the coverage, we may not even want to consult the doctor or take expensive medicine regularly.

I realize that exercise should be part of your life and not just focus on loosing weight or belly. Because if you do some certain movement and starts hurting your bones, it could prove fatal to you. I used to make that excuse before, but now I got this uric acid problem, Iv'e decided to make it most my habit.

My brother and I try to eat healthier although we aren't necessarily on a diet. I can't do a lot of exercising but I do plan on doing some light yoga and chair aerobics.

Speaking of health, right now I'm monitoring my Blood pressure. I take a lot of medicine for it.

I suggest you take a second opinion about taking those medicines. It can cause more damage than good in the long run. Make sure it's something you really are informed about it. Start an exercise program. Slowly at first - at least 3 times a week. Then increase it to an average. It will surely help you gain good health. If you have a family or loved ones depending on you, please make the necessary changes. Don't wait before it is more difficult to manage. I'm sorry - for being like this because I have witnessed a lot who might have prevented more serious illness but now in a late stage or too difficult stage to recover.
