whether should less talk in the work

I have been this company for 20 days .now i gradually adapt to the working environment. i begin to learn how to get along well with the collegues.but i have some question that i am a character frank girl,so whether i should less talk and do more ,because now i didn't undestand all of the peoples ,i am afraid of speaking something they doesn't like .

It is always important to know when to talk. I always like the people who do not say much, but when they do, everyone shuts up and listens
