A little poem by Lany for the welcoming days soon to be Spring:
Spring is in the Air
I can feel its fresh touch;
a blossom or two
but not yet too much!
The birds have a newer call;
almost an urgency chirp,
the need to fix the nest
one of happiness superb.
Delighted at the flurry
of insects and spiders aplenty
going about in a hurry
to flowers aroma gently.
Its a bustle and a hustle
even as busy as the bees,
the spring time is nearing
as sure as the sunshine agrees.
Happy Hump day - I am off to do some bowling in my pretties of pink outfits - have a wonderful day
My photo is of the Cape Columbine Lighthouse and the August array of African Daisies lying like a carpet of flowers on the earths floor - one of my hubby's lovely photos

And here in the US, a long, hot summer is finally giving way to cooler evenings. Soon enough, our teeth will be chattering while you are basking in the summer heat!

I love spring with light sun not too much warmth. We have a very short spring here like a week or two but we have very harsh summer. Now we have rainy season going on and we have winter after it. So I am pretty much happy that I still have cold to go on with. I hate summers.
