Potty Training

hello everyone, i am a mother to a 3 year old little boy and i have been trying to potty train him and nothing seems to be working . its like he knows when he has to use the bathroom but he still chooses to go in his pants . he seems to hate the potty. i have tried everything i can think of . so now i need some advice .

I have a friend who tried telling her boys to aim for cheerios in the toilet when they pee. They learned to pee in the toilet. It was like a game to them. My son is 2 and isn't really interested in using the potty except for when he knows he's about to get a bath, he'll put his seat on the toilet and he'll potty.
