This post for for someone who is one true friend of mine online. One true strong woman who has wisdom beyond her imagination. She is someone who has been there and done that and knows what she is talking about. And this is one woman who can give good solid advice on what not to do and what to avoid in life. I am talking about the one and only @sugartoes she is the most amazing person I have met in a long time online. Hands down, without a doubt. I am doing this post for her in a challenge she put forth. I am taking that challenge for her. On her behalf and for mine as well. Not many people in this world have been through what she has in her struggling life.
She has made many posts about her life growing up. I read every single one of those posts. And believe me they were heartbreaking. Something no one should ever have to go through. She went into detail about different situations in her life. One more horrible than the next one. And yet she prevailed. She survived them all and came out of it as well. after reading her posts, I would have assumed she would have been one bitter person. But guess what, she is not bitter at all, not one bit. As a matter of fact, she is the complete opposite of bitter. She is loving and caring and honest.
Her life stories and her wisdom will help others in times of need or in situations similar to hers. I know that if I was to have grown up like her I wouldn’t be nice person at all. I would be bitter and angry and sad and lonely. But @sugartoes is none of those things. She is a true human being. Like an iron tank having things thrown at it, she kept on rolling through her hard life and her troubles. Between any physical abuse and mental abuse, she is tough as nails and as sweet as pie. That is very hard to accomplish in a world such as hers. She accomplished it and I applaud that.
I can honestly say this, I am not a religious person, not in the least. But she is very religious and believes in god. Now I ask you, for someone to have gone through what she has, would you believe in god or a god? I highly doubt that. I know I wouldn’t. I had things happen to me through my life. But nothing like she has. My misfortunes pale in comparison to hers. And I am not religious. I was raised catholic and after attending catholic school, I decided that religion was not for me. The point I am bringing out here is her strong belief. He never giving up on it and sticking with it through good and bad times. She is a trooper.
I know this post sounds like I am building her up and trying to make her sound better than she is. But in the contrary, I know what I am talking about here. I am not building her up to be larger than life. She already is larger than life. And no one in this world has the right to judge her for the things she had to do do survive. She did what she had to. No matter what it was. Otherwise she wouldn’t be here with us now. And believe me, she has had many heartaches in her life. From her personal struggles as a child to her children as well. So I ask everyone here to please give her her due and applaud this woman for her courage, love, honesty and understanding.

@inertia4 Names don't highlight in posts but the person still gets notification. The reason for not highlighting might have something to do with the guideline about not naming people but in this case it would be totally silly not to allow such a nice post. What you wrote about @sugartoes is indeed inspirational.

@velvet53 Hey Now!!! I have been okay. I had a procedure done, one last year and one this year on my bladder. I am fine now though. Working on getting my sugar down and to lose weight again. How have you been? I hope everything has been good.

I don't know @sugartoes but it sounds like she does not have a religion, but a relationship with G-d. So her past hurts that were healed, has caused her to be close to Him and so she is not bitter, but thankful.

@sugartoes Amein! That is what I meant, He is there for us and He does answer our prayers. It may not be what we want, but His ways are higher and we have to trust Him.
I am now following you and looking forward to getting to know you more.

I have chatted with her here a few times and while I don't know the story of her life, I do applaud her surviving. I truly understand being pushed down in life and still loving and following God, no matter what. For some of us, that is exactly how we do survive. She is so blessed to have a friend like you here. You're one in a million.

First of all, I want to say that it's nice to see you here. I've missed your posts other places...all of which I believe are no longer.
I really enjoy reading her posts, most especially the ones about the crafts she is working on and how the cabin is coming along.

This is a beautiful accolade to your friend I am so glad she found a faith in God to helo her. He aleays uses what we have been through to help others. There ys a saying in Christian circles that the battle is in propirtion to the blessing and so I believe that she is destined to be blessed.
