That number inside the () records our activities. It goes up by one each time you post a discussion, a response, or a comment. Right now you have '11' and when I go to your profile page I see you have 4 discussions+4 responses+3 comments. Don't worry about the algorithm - the site will take care of that and we will never get a fixed rate of 'x' cents per post or anything like that. Just interact and the cents will take care of themselves. We earn from interactions we receive from other members on our posts (discussions/responses/comments). The numbers in brackets next to your name have NO relation to your earnings. It is simply the total of discussions, responses and comments ("posts") you have made. MyLot pay nothing for each discussion, response or comment unless and until somebody interacts with it in some way - by responding, commenting or 'liking' it, for example. Your earnings depend solely and entirely on how much interaction you receive. All the details of how earnings work and how they are paid are set out in the Earnings Program FAQs.
