I am in a hospital right now. One of my uncle was having an acute pain in stomach . He was diagnosed with some malfunctioning of pancreas as he was a diabetic patient from long time. But what I noticed that medical expenses here are too high that it's not possible for poor person to get treatment in renowned hospitals. Like U.S.here medical insurance is not compulsory but I feel it should be as life is important than anything.

It's the same here. That's why poor people die coz they simply can't afford treatment from the hospital.

@thesids the government issued a medical insurance but the coverage isn't gooD. It's a bit useless for those who have none in life.

@sjvg1976 Oh. In that case, chances of getting reimbursed are remote. medical bills should be treated as Medical Bills by all organizations - irrespective of the hospital being on their list or not. (That is my opinion,of course, because one does not find listed hospitals everywhere and even if we do have Government Hospitals, we all know what sanitary conditions many of them have around)
