Time is ticking away...

It really does not matter the reason. Why hear the same song and dance? Most have stopped dancing to the tunes I sing anyways... It is just too much, and I have finally cracked. It's no use. I am tired of pretending. The weight of it all is just crushing me. Coming down on me so hard, it's agony. I can't get off this train leading to nowhere, unless it's a pitstop to ride the hampster wheel. You get the point. The pendulum swings back and forth. Tick tock, tick tock... The noise won't stop. I am going downhill fast. Something has to change. But what? Shall I be a doormat? Will that satisfy the universe? I can't stand anymore. The branches I need to hold me up, have all but withered away. I keep hearing the records play, of how inadequate I am. The only justice is the judgment I hear. The screams won't stop. Peace can't break through the steel walls. Laughter has been silenced by the mute button. Tears have become a raging river. The prison has been locked, and the keys thrown into the abyss. A decision has to be made. There is less than 48 hours left. But I lack the ability to satisfy all. So will anyone out there break the silence of heaven, to give me wings to fly again? If not... Then someone bring the bugle. It might be needed to give the benediction of a life, that never learned to live...
