Thought into myLot posts?

I've read a bunch of posts in the past three weeks, here on myLot, and I've seen how some people write without any difficulty about everyday events while others write about specific topics they think about.
I was just wondering, how much of thought and time do you put into your posts? Or does it come to you naturally? I'm sure it might be easier for people who have been here longer right?
Because I actually have to think and search so I can find a topic that is interesting enough to write about and post.......or am I overthinking this?
How do you guys come up with a post?

@JudyEv it's very useful because the search result opens up in another tab while the mylot page that talks about it stays open. once i've read more or seen other pics of it, then i write my question or comment to that mylotter.

@hereandthere I try to give 'value for reading' by including a few facts about whatever it is I might be showing as a photo.

I've got a notebook that I take everywhere with me.
It's got all sorts of things in it from how to clean the fryers at work to the readings from my electric and gas meters.
At the back I've a list of discussion tpoics, I write them down when I think of them...I've got loads and have only used ten or so so far.
Making a discussion is great but if a lot of people respond you end up spending all your time on your own discussion without doing responding to other people so I don't start many discussions.

I feel the same way. Although I no longer make lists to start discussions here. I hardly ever feel like I have enough commitment time to respond back.

I just post whatever comes out in my mind immediately. This is what myLot becomes awesome for there's no limit on how many words we have in a post.

For me, it usually just comes naturally. Most of the time, the topics I write here comes from what I read or what I watched on TV. Sometimes also when I am collecting my thoughts during the commute, I get inspired to write something here.

Writing is a personal thing. Although writing here is not demanding like it could be in a writing site it still requires a topic. For me it depends on my mood and anything that I've thought about. When you wrote a topic interesting enough to write about did you mean interesting for you or interesting for you readers? Curious.

You know a thing those who post everyday's event using words and things are most myloters familiar of the things and words and some aren't because these make apart them by some's culture, trends, living, style etc. While other gets hesitate to bring daily's event as being of unware of what could be the response.

I think it's what have been brewing in my head all day, so important to me that I have to put them into writing and share. :-)

I have such a difficult time coming up with discussion topics. I mostly reply to posts rather than posting stuff myself.

I have to restrain myself from posting as too many posts will be quite a bore for the myLot community (lol)

i tend to dribble when i'm bored...'r if'n somebody asks me somethin' that i feel there's a need fer a new discussion so's not to clog 'p their notifications :) the beauty 'f mylot ('n i reckon some other places?? dunno, this's where i hang my hat) 'd be that one can write 'bout purty much whate'er floats their boat :)

@hereandthere I write what pops into my head. I also am a big fan of trivia and quotes. I like to mix it up a bit.

For me sometimes there is something specific I want to share. But even then it won't be quick for me to publish the discussion because I will write it and then read it and then edit it and then read it again.... Could take a while even if the discussion is short.

So far my posts tend to be quite spontaneous, maybe triggered by something that's happened to me that morning. It does make me realise that we don't need to have madly exciting lives for interesting discussion points to arise from the things we do.
