the first meeting for the second semester with the English teachers was fun. I met two very blonde and very tall Americanas, two sweet talking Canadian gentlemen, one Australian cowboy and a super talker Indian. And boy how I felt so out of place.
I was the quietest since I'm the newest addition. Besides I don't like the spotlight. They deserve it. Their tales of professionalism so entertaining that before I knew it, I was ROFL.
The group however couldn't agree over a serious issue. Half firmly said no to cheating. If the students want to pass their exams, it's either they study grammar and vocabulary intensively or not show their face at all. The other half said they'd feel honored if their students would take the extra effort of writing codigos about nouns and verbs just to pass the ever boring written test. As long as they can defend themselves in straight English.
And boy how I felt so out of place. Again. lol
Photo is of my hatched Pokemon egg.

you felt out of place because you didn't agree with either half?

@sol_cee but does your stand or solution have elements from both sides? or something completely different?

What course are you taking? Why do you feel yourself so out of place? Is ii because it's the first class, and you haven't get to know them well yet? Perhaps you will feel more comfortable soon.
I have not seen a hatching egg. Thanks for showing.

When it comes to discussions as such, I tend to hang back and be the quiet one of the pack too. Sometimes I don't have a definite opinion of either side . . . sometimes I see both sides and maybe it's just better to not say anything .

I think you felt that way because you could not speak out what you wanted to tell them. Next time you'll be in the limelight too.
