What happens if you do loose weight?

There are only few reasons why I wanted to shed a few pounds last year. One, simply just to look good, but after knee pain,, I forced myself not only to loose weight but limit on foods that causes that uric acid problem. Two, I haven't had a tooth removal for a while, since they are crooked already, I'm still afraid to have a dentist check up. The last one asked me if i had High blood or heart attack, so i think being healthy enough I could finally get myself go to the dentist. But beyond that, I don't know. What's the point of shedding a few pounds besides looking good or not worrying about what to wear when you go outside the house. What is beyond after shedding a few pounds and getting stronger, I've seen a lot of people who have six packs or muscles and yet they're not satisfied. So, where would that lead me? If any one of you lost weight, does it make you feel good or inspired you to be better everyday? I just wonder. Sometimes I doubt myself.

For me, losing weight would make it so much easier to do every day things. I could go for longer walks and take care of more things around the house. And yes, my knees would not hurt as much! It's all about living life better.

@Letranknight2015 I'm still working on losing weight, too. It has to become a life change for all of us and then we can live the rest of our lives in a much better way.

For starters, carrying around a load of excess weight impacts on your health - on your knees and ankles, also on internal organs that are surrounded by a layer of fat. I am not terribly overweight but have lost 10 kgs over some months. I do know I feel much better about myself and have a bit more confidence because I don't have a fat stomach poking out. So I'm a bit happier. It probably sounds vain but that's how it is for me. I'm actually a bit surprised that it has made me feel happier.

you're right @JudyEv It wasn't looking good at all when you have that excess weight. I wouldn't have health complications if I was exercising and eating nutrients regularly.

I think a lot of good things happen. The issues such as diabetes and others would less likely to harm as well.

I don't know. once I was very sick and lost weight. I needed to gain it back and I did. I was happy to be able to wear my clothes again. In your case, just think about how much healthier you are now. That should make you happy.

Maybe I'mm just being impatient with this routine @RubyHawk because it's been six months since I started trying to shed pounds, there was improvement though.

It inspires me to inspire lot of chicks and i am dating with 3 chicks now I hope the count of chicks grow in future

Lol @AkramAbstruse sounds like a true fictional story there, but i doubt dating three women is normal and respectful unless the three know each other. good luck with your fantasies

@Letranknight2015 By losing weight you will feel better and look better and being noticed a lot will inspire you to do better. Lots of good reasons. I also have to lose more weight as my knees are very bad again.

It's not healthy to carry extra pounds even though I am guilty of it myself but am always working on it plus it does make you feel better and have more energy!
