Does a litre of water before bed help?

This was recommended to me.Does it work?I have heard that poeple get hyponatriaemia from it.

I would think that drinking water all day is better than drinking a bunch of water at night.

It's not recommended here in my place, specially not to someone bigger, that would make fat-burning slower at night.

It a burden for me to drink a lot of water before going to bed, for I wake up oftentimes to urinate.

Many people say it can help, but you could be awaken when its time to pee.

that is a lot of water in one go - you would probably be woken up by a need to use the lavatory a lot in the night

Water consumption always helps but i am not that sure whether we need to have much water before going to bed at night.
