Heights of Callousness!
India

Feeling stressed out !Was almost attacked by a Rottweiler however narrowly escaped by getting back inside the gate. Most of the dog owners here in India import or take home those breeds that they r not experienced to take care of just for Show off and on the other side, they pelt stone at poor stray dogs and cats.
So to my dear so called animal lovers Indian brothers and sisters, no, my callous, inconsiderate and fool animal lover Indian brothers and sisters, if u don't know how to pet animals, don't go for petting imported breeds like German Shepherd , Pitbull or Rottweiler just to SHOW OFF that u r animal lovers! Reality is when u see a hungry stray dog or a cat. U pelt stone and drive that poor being away. On the other hand u pet dog breeds u r not experienced to pet and show off that u guys r animal lovers?? Had u been true animal lovers, u would have adopted one of those stray beings or at least have fed them and relieved them of their hunger instead of PELTING STONES!

I generally agree with the statement that there are no bad dogs just bad owners.
The Rottweiler is one of my top 5 breeds of dog that I'd like to own.
They're one of the most intelligent, loyal and easy to train dogs but they have to be socialised correctly or else they can cause problems.

Absolutely correct Mike. Here in India, most of the Rottweiler owners are not experienced in properly socializing the dog. They just have the money and buy them for social status.

Our dogs here are after our cats and so I pelt stones at them. However, some rich people keep special breeds of dogs as pets just as a status symbol.

i myself prefer local dogs and cats, i find them low-maintenance. but yes i also see more and more expensive and imported dogs being walked around here and pushed around in prams in the mall. they probably need airconditioned bedrooms to survive the heat and humidity here. i think it's cruel to abandon or torture stray cats and dogs as if they are inferior and disposable.
