Short or Long Discussion?

Which do you prefer to read here, short or long discussions? Not everyone is into reading long narrative, essay or article because for some reasons, they are just too lazy or in a hurry. I both love short and long discussions depending on my interest of the subject matter. Sometimes a good title can catch an attention that can also motivate you to read the whole article. How about you?

I must admit I like short discussions as long as they have substance to them. If there is a long discussion about something I'm interested in I will read it all but generally I think I prefer short.

@cherigucchi If it's something I know nothing about I don't usually read any of it but I expect that's the same for most people.

This is one of the good thread you raised because many of us not like to read narrative discussion because of long, time consuming etc. Moreover short discussion are direct to the point.

That is also correct. No matter how long a discussion may be if we are interested and can relate to it, its fine.

It depends who is the writer. Some are very good ant it is pleasant to read even a long discussions, but not all the people are able to keep a long discussion interesting from top to the bottom.

You know the internet is fast paced so shorter posts could be very beneficial. Do you agree?

I prefer to read short stories.I am Chinese, my English is not very good, so see feature-length, said to me is a kind of difficult.

It depends on the style of writing and topic, for me. Some long discussions appeal to me because they are written in a way that engage readers to read them.

It does not matter to me if the discussion is short or long as long as it is interesting to read.

I mostly prefer short, but I also like to read some long posts. I think it just depends on the subject.
