Minors getting away with too much

Australia

There have been many crimes where minors have gotten away with getting charged because they are too young. I don't know how it works in different countries, but that's the way it is here in Melbourne Australia. Minors have gotten away for graffititing, murder, rape and so many other criminal offences with just a slap on their wrist. Minors will keep committing these offences as they can get away with them. What should minors be charged with for serious criminal offences such as murder or rape?

Some minors as young as 12 and even below are committing heinous crimes, I believe they should punished for their crimes not their age ..

Same here . Although , they are housed in a place they called boys town or girls town , as the case may be , where they are taught on livelihood and educations among others, until they have reformed . But then , i don't know if they were reformed after that .

I agree. My city is the same way. Murder is about the only thing they don't

In India, crimes that are done by minors are rare. Though the process of the court takes forever to decide on anything....the criminal will commit a crime in his 20's and by the time his case is solved he will be in his 50's. Speed of justice is kinda bleak.
