Our dads are about the same age, aren't they? My best friend's dad is about the same age as my dad too - in fact, they knew each other when my dad was still alive - now I often look at my friend's dad and imagine my own dad at this age...

@ramapo17 My mom and my sister were with him all the way. They said he seemed like he was looking for me at first, then a very close family friend who was my age and had a similar body structure to me came to his bedside to hold his hands. He became very calm and peaceful like he was sleeping... and not very long after he passed away. Everyone who was there at the time believed he was waiting for me...

Enjoy the new season and do what I do when you miss your dad or just want to feel close to him, talk to him. I do it all the time and especially when I am on the computer. We were back and forth on computers almost every night when it was near his end and we enjoyed every minute of it. We lived almost 2 hours away from each other until 6 months before he passed. I still talk to him a lot and many times I feel him next to me. He was 93 when he passed 3 years ago.
