My dear friends, the economic situation of 2016 is not so good as before, can you feel the economic crisis in your country? Do you find that it is much more difficult to earn money?

@MattMeng Well, we can't do anything about economic crises wherever we are .. But you know what, when I was younger, I worked so hard that I was able to invest enough for my old age which is now .. I never lived beyond my means unlike most young people and even people my age do .. I'm not affected by economic crises because I made my lifestyle simple ..

I'm sorry to hear that, but you are rather lucky, because you could learn in college, your father must be a great man, and he could earn a lot of money.

Economy crisis does not mean anything to us personally if we are still working. It only means pain to us when we lose our job. If you have an income, it is a good time to buy a house or a second house to rent out.

@MattMeng It's not like that. It has to do with the specific skills and the specific industry. In the past before China opened up, we had many factory jobs in Singapore. Once China opened up, the factories closed down, and the factory workers were out of jobs. The jobs were not coming back, so the government started many programs to re-train the people. Hard for those who had been working in the same factory for 30 years to learn new things.

@MattMeng Our generation is worse than the previous generation, and the next generation will be worse. By then, jobs will not be of permanent nature. A person has to change career, learn new things, and keep on getting new jobs. It is a trend in many countries now, and sooner or later it will be a global trend.

Your country is experiencing a slow down, anything that affects you affects the world. I buy metal and steel scraps and the price of copper is almost one half and the price of steel is only a fifth of what it was 3 to 4 years ago i agree money is somewhat getting hard

There could be, but the government is doing its best now to have a good climate for investment like achieving peace and order and getting rid of corruption. Also more benefits for the workers.
