Good morning/afternoon/evening all. It's a nice start to the day so far. The humidity isn't bad but the last two days have been so hot and humid that I am sure today will be the same.
I really miss those couple of cool days that we had. It was so nice and refreshing and I wish it would have lasted. I can't wait for the cool weather to return and stay for good. We have so many trees around us that I am excited to see what they look like once their leaves change colors.
How is your weather? Is it cool today or has you hot weather returned like ours has? I wish everyone a fantastic Tuesday!

i don't share yer enthusiasm with autumns arrival'n then that 'f winter. 'f course, i might be more inclined if'n there t'was great beauty to be seen. t'was a comfy day here, though a bit 'f a 'bite' to the winds. 'n then there t'was the thunderboomer that came late 'fternoon. i got to spend several hours with the shop vac dryin' out that mess.

@crazyhorseladycx Don't get me wrong, I am not looking forward to winter at all. I absolutely hate being cold. I'm just wanting some cooler weather even though winter is just around the corner.

It is hot and humid here today going to be almost 90. We had cool weather this weekend and got chilly at night i enjoyed it as it was comfortable enough to sleep at night. Now it's supposed to be back too high 90's this week. Hope you have a great Tuesday.

@Blondie2222 I really feel for you. Our temps have been in the high 80's, low 90's for a while now and out humidity is between 80-100%. Just miserable.

You sent all of your cool air down here to us in Florida! We're quite enjoying it, so I don't think we're going to want to send it back to you anytime soon!

@moffittjc That's a good idea, getting out as much as possible while the weather is cool. It is supposed to rain here all day and then the weather is supposed to get cooler. I hope it does.

@simone10 So far, this week has been amazing, weather-wise! They say we'll be back to normal by the weekend, so I have been trying to get outside as much as possible the past few days to enjoy these nice cool temps.

@simone10 that is a beautiful picture. I think you sent your nice weather down to us in my neck of the woods (central Florida). It has been nice the last couple of days. I have been able to spend a little bit of time outside enjoying it.

We had a cooling spell too, but then it got hot again. On Labor Day, my husband and I took a chance and went to the pool and it wasn't nearly as crowded as I thought it would be, so that was really nice. Then of course, Labor Day is when the pool closes for the season and now would be a good time for him to fix the dock steps so we can swim in the lake.

@simone10 Snakes, turtles, and fish are afraid of us more, so splashing in the water will scare them away. I've been swimming in lakes all my life and the only thing that ever happened to me is if I am still for a while, a fish will bump into me, which feels like it sounds, a little bump.

@Carmelanirel2 When I was younger, there were several lakes with sand beaches that we used to go to. There were times when fish would take a little nibble of our toes or legs. It never bothered me and I never thought about snakes until I got older. There is no way I would go in a lake now. I have heard about snake nests and that really scares me, even though I know that finding a snake nest isn't that common.

Yes the daytime heat has returned to our area.
We are expecting a 96F day today.
But I don't mind it because its so short lived, a few hours during the day, but the evenings cool off because the sun isn't as high in the sky for as long as it was on those very hot days a month or 2 ago.

@Juliaacv I thought all schools had a/c these days. I do remember when I was in high school, most of our classes were in a building with no air, although we did have big fans. I don't ever remember being hot but it was probably because I was young and it didn't bother me much. I do remember being excited whenever I had to go to my history class because it was in an a room with a/c.

It's been warm and humid for the least couple of days. The only way it's cool around here anymore is if there's heavy downpour with occasional thunderstorms.
Hope the cool days return to your place soon

@ria1606roy I can understand how you feel because I feel the same way and I don't think our heat and humidity is as bad as yours can be during the summer.

@simone10 Yes most people get used to it and just accept it as part of tropical life, but during the summer, I silently or openly curse the heat and humidity because to me that weather is very intolerable
