My High Blood Pressure

My youngest daughter has fever, running nose and cough. So we went to the doctor for her treatment. Since we were there so I decided to have a BP. Guess what, my BP is 180 over 100. The doctor was shocked and he immediately prescribed four types of medicines for my high blood pressure to be taken for one month. He also advised me to be back after a month for my new prescription. I think it's time for me to buy a wristband BP to monitor my blood pressure. I didn't care to buy one for I thought my illness is not that worse. Any thoughts?

I have the wristband BP to monitor my blood pressure, it's just to check and I do this every morning. This morning it was 98 over 66, very low, as usual.

Very low. So you have to do something to make it normal.

Maybe you are just tired or lacked sleep? I usually have higher bp when I lack sleep, but it is usually 150/90 which doctors say is still high. So I take some medications sometimes and some alternative foods to stabilize the bp.

Yes. I slept late last night. 150/90 is already high too. My doctor said I should not take this for granted.

prevention is better than cure , so go ahead buy that wristband BP monitor . And your BP was indeed shocking . I would also be anxious knowing that it is that high . Now at least you have your medication . Hubby likes it that he has a maintenance medicine for high BP .

I don't even know what our blood pressure is supposed to be, but I gather that yours is in the danger zone. I hope you can get it down, and I also hope that your daughter is ok.

You really have high blood, reduce it by plugging a headphone with music so mellow that would help stabilize your blood pressure. Also talk to God friend.Your daughter is made instrument so you would know of your BP, so delicate if you had a sudden attack,Thankful to God.

Please don't panic. I would suggest that you go and get another BP test. This time, you rest for at least 10 minutes before allowing yourself to take the BP. This will help you have a stable heart rate. Taking medications for a long period like a month will affect your most vital organs, which can cause you more health problems. True doctors will tell you that, but doctors who want to make money out of you, will let you panic and take prescriptions that one day will affect your other organs. It is better to take natural and alternative medications like medicinal herbs and supplements. Your health is very important, so I suggest, research, learn and be informed.
