Mosquito Bites Don't Seem To Mind Hot Water!

After all of my pulling of weeds yesterday, I found myself with a ton of mosquito bites all of my back. Some of it was my fault, I have to admit. I wore a black t-shirt and then I was sweating at the same time. Those little guys zeroed in on me as fast as their little wings could carry them.
Just got out of a hot shower. I thought that might help with the itch, but it didn't seem to help in the least. I am just as itchy as I was earlier. Not sure how I'm going to approach the weeding in the weeks to come?? I want two nice clean garden beds but not sure what to do about the mosquitoes. Will have to look online to see if there is anything that you can clip onto your clothes to keep the little suckers away!
Any advice??

bless yer heart, calamine lotion'll help with the itch. to keep 'em off, 'round here i use vanilla extract - jest mix a couple drops'n some unscented lotion 'r e'en coconut oil 'n slather 't on. they aint too fond 'f mentholatum either. lemongrass 'tis 'nother natural alternative. best 'f luck with yer garden 'n comin' out'ta tended to such alive, lol.

I feel your pain. My partner and I are on hols at the sea in Croatia at the moment and we have been royally bitten. During the day I can ignore the itchiness but I wake in the early hours desperate to scratch. We have tried several anti mozzie products but nothing has worked so far.
