I'm thinking first you'll need to get a visa.
Maybe a holiday visa first if you haven't been to canada before.

Canada is a laid back country. The people are very friendly and I am sure you will love it here. It all depends on what part of Canada you are moving to. Some of us have terrible winters and others are not so bad. We are a big country but not over populated. What area did you think that you might be moving to? I am in Eastern Canada so it is hard to speak for the rest of the country.
