I used to like steak well done.
Now I like it medium to medium well.
My favourite cut is filet mignon and I like it with a peppercorn sauce or a blue cheese sauce and chunky chips....I'm not sure what chunky chips are called in the US.

Chunky chips translates to home-fries (potatoes) here. Love them

@sherryericha I'll remember that
Considering the fact we share a common language we do have loads of different words for things

On the grill all seasoned up and a bake potato on a side and ice cold water to not add so much calories

That looks yummy!
I got my husband to take me to a steakhouse the other day and for the first time I got edu-ma-cated about different cuts of steak.
After hearing the options, I went for a medium-well ribeye, but it was so fatty and took so much work to cut, I won't get it again.
My husband got a medium New York, and it was so good, that's what I'm getting next time
I do love onions and mushrooms, but it was an extra $3 to have that.
As far as cooking it at home, I'm getting better. I do have to use a meat thermometer to make sure I don't overcook it though! I like making roasts better; less chance to mess up, lol!
