So Funny Taxi Driver

I was almost late due to heavy traffic, so what I did, I rode on a taxi. I told the driver that my class starts at 7:30 and I only have 25 minutes to save my salary from being late.. My heart was also beating so fast for I imagined my students smiling sweetly thinking I might be absent,LOL.
When I told the driver that I am almost late, the driver drove so fast that he overtook big trucks and other taxis. I was not afraid of the speed for I am also a fast driver speed at 80.
Then what makes the driver funny is when we passed the Funeral Parlor, he made a sign of the cross twice hahaha, so funny, we did not pass a church, but why did he make a sign of the cross?. My goodness sake!By the way, I was not late in class.
I am hitching here our faculty computer. Have a nice laugh.

i also make the sign of the Cross when i pass by a church, a chapel, or when a hearse passes by, with the short prayer of 'eternal rest grant unto her/him o Lord...'

@cacay1a high school classmate also recelled that her boyfriend who passed by a Protestant church made him make the sign of the cross, but when he noticed it was another chapel, he 'erased' the sign of the cross by counter-signing the cross. meaning, first was the AMEN then. backwards, from right shoulder to left, to the chest then forehead.

I couldn't help laughing out loud . Good thing , the boss isn't at her office , where we both occupy .
The taxi driver did that because he is already asking forgiveness for all his sins so he still can arrive safely to where you are heading .

I live in a city called Xiamen from China. In the United States, cities can drive to 80 yards, really happy. In Xiamen, get in the car, work time is very heavy. The car drove up to forty yards on our side.It will take two hours every day in the rush hours.

@cacay1 Changchun nearly is the Chinese most north of the city. You should come to the south of the city. For example, Xiamen, here.It is the coldest time in winter it is 10 degrees below zero.China is relatively large, so.The climate of southern cities and northern cities are not the same. You can go to several cities more.you can feel the customs of China.

@cacay1 that's really funny because we Catholics usually make a sign of the cross when passing by a church, but not a fp.
