What to do with pumpkin seeds?

I have a big mason jar full of pumpkin seeds/pepitas. I've been trying to think of how to use them up. We've snacked on them, put them in muffins, sprinkled them over salads... I need new ideas! I wonder if they can be used in a pesto?

I'm a huge Pinterest fan. I am growing pumpkins this year too and might be in a similar situation, so I did some investigating. Hope this helps!

I've only tried the roasted ones. Though now that I'm a cat mom to two lovely kittens, I heard that pumpkin seeds are good for deworming them. Also good for deworming dogs too.

i could imagine you can use them in pretty much anything. I usually bake them and salt them.

That's a lot of seeds, unfortunately I can't eat them.

I see there is link to make pesto. That sounds a good idea.
