Believe It Or Not . . . .

The very itchy patch I have at the top of my right ankle , wasn’t itchy and healed already . Actually , my daughter through her dermatologist friend , prescribed me an expensive ointment , but it didn’t stop the itch even if it was nearly two weeks already . It became dark already from my scratching . Thus , I went to our hometown last Friday , a holiday and showed it to the local quack doctor , actually the mother-in-law of my sister . With a new needle she sterilized , she scratched that itchy patch removing what she calls “kagaw “ or itch . Each time she have scratched it with the needle , she would put that part of the needle on the light of the candle by her side . She keeps doing it , and when done , told me to put a certain type of cheap cream from a pharmacy . In a matter of 2 days , it isn’t itchy anymore and is already getting lighter since it darkened already . And I swear , while she was doing that scratching with the needle I felt so sleepy because it’s soothing, yet a bit painful at times . Believe it or not , she has cured a lot of people from other places who have skin diseases like this . I will post about some of those she cured in another post . Just sharing . . . . .

Often this kind of thing cannot explain by science. :) She's an 'albularyo'?

Yes, because she removes that mite or whatever is making it itchy then the appropriate cream . She knows what are the appropriate cream for each kind of skin disease . I even asked her , what if she's already gone , who will inherit her skill . To which she said , her kids now married and have their own lives , didn't learn how to do it .

@sol_cee You know what , i actually copied what she was doing to me the day after that , because it seems there are still itchy things . Wow, after that and putting the cream overnight , it wasn't itchy anymore . Maybe i can make a good quack healer too.

Yes and this one proves it . The people in our town grew up going to her when we have skin itches . She always can cure them by doing that simple way . And she knows what appropriate ointment to use after that .

Hi Ms. LT! I think I remember you mentioning about that itch in one of your posts before. I thought it was all healed afterwards then.

No, it didn't heal. It was still itchy so , i know there's still something that makes it easy. My mother, told me to go to her , because she cured my mother's " kurikong" on her hands . Besides , we grew up being treated by her for our itchy skin ailments . But i didn't tell my daughter About it because she's now busy reviewing for their board exams on 10, 11, 17 & 18. Please help me pray that Dianne, my daughter , JM , her boyfriend and their friends, Raiza and Athena pass it with fliying colors0 ha ?

You reminded me of my quack doctors grandparents. Yes, both of them were. My grandma was herbalist and my grandpa was the one who kept on chewing garlic and blew it on the head, in the tummy or everywhere of the sick people in our town before and they were healed. My hubby was one of his patient when he visited me for the first time. It was funny because the fever of my hubby was gone and he felt better after that treatment. It´s good that the itchyness in your skin is gone.

And i suppose your hubby is already a believer of the quacks . Yes, we have those kinds too, because that is popular here in the Philippines . They can really heal and they only ask for whatever you can give when asked how much . But do you also have this kind of "albularyo" when it comes to itchy skin disease?

IDermatologists charge expensive fees and prescribed expensive soaps and creams but most times the old fashion treatment that costs practically nothing is more effective.

Yes, you are correct , my friend . What she is doing is somehow logical - she removed what is causing the itch and maybe it's a mite or something , so she had it killed by the light of the candle . Then, after that i apply the cream , so it would already start healing .

I was actually asking what ointment to use for my scar because it got so dark already . But then , i noticed it wouldn't heal . So , again she asked and texted me for an antibacterial . Yet that didn't stop the itchiness . So i did that . I haven't told her yet of what really healed me because she's now so busy reviewing because their exams will be on 10th and 11th this weekend and next weekend , 17 & 18 . Oh please help me pray for her , Dianne , JM and two friends Raiza and Athena , that will pass the Medical board with flying colors , my dear .

Actually , when it seems my skin ailment seemed not healing despite those expensive creams , my mother told me to go to her . She was previously cured by her , by everyday going to her for a week , for her itchy skin lesions in her two hands . Now , her hands are healed and not itchy anymore .

I was also brought to a quack doctor when I was young. I used to have sty and the quack doctor advised me to plant something like an onion but it should be planted upside down. After doing that, I did not have it anymore.

lucky you came across this doctor. I used to be skeptical about Ayurvedic remedies until I had to give it a try one day and it worked. It is the first thing i go to now...after all there is no reason simple remedies shouldn't work

Ayurveda is the use of all natural things found in nature to cure aliments. Like the use of leaves, herbs, flowers, honey, particular types of sand...etc. But since your doctor used candle fire and a needle....it seemed like a natural way to cure something.

I think psoriasis is not because of those small parasites , but more because out of stress and biological cause , so it's not treatable by that . My father also had psoriasis . But it's gone after it was treated maybe for months . Though , he now have the brown patches to remind him of the bout with psoriasis .

Yes, you are right . But as i observe what she's doing i think it is logical that what is causing me to itch is something that is alive and very small but can be removed by the needle and be killed by the light of the candle.

She's not a real doctor . She is just a healer by experience . After that , she told me to buy a skin allergy ointment at the pharmacy and put it on my skin allergy in the morning and at night . It's now healed , i shall just be putting on something that can at least lighten the scar .
