Isn't it annoying or bothersome how some people suddenly reacts without having to really understand the matter?
You wanted to maintain a sensible conversation with the person but since they understood it in a negative way, chances are, misunderstandings/miscommunication happens. Wrong interpretations just forfeits everything.

I actually get this feeling more on facebook. Especially when I state my political opinions. I feel they always treat what I say in a negative way that they become defensive.

Each person has his own ideas look at problems.Each person's experience is different, endow his point of view is different, some people are positive, some are negative.As soon as you think you are correct, there will be no problem.just Do you think the right thing is OK.
