Human Dissatisfaction

I feel human beings are dissatisfied by birth. The thirst in them to get more and more in life can never be satiated. Everyday we want something or someone new. Everyday we fall in love with someone or something new. This unending race has no finishing line. Even the ones in search of eternal "moksha" wish to move a step closer to that everyday. Where are we headed to? Why cant we stop? What is this urge to never stop in life? what is it that we need so badly?

I agree with you that people are not satisfied in whatever situation they are. They want more and more. They continue to desire for more. You are right that they need to draw a line, at some point of time to stop. If their pursuit continues, they will always remain restless.
Do you also desire for new things and want to acquire more?

Having been blessed to bring 11 children into this world, I have to say I disagree with your statement about people being dissatisfied at birth. I'm convinced that at birth, everybody is totally clueless about the world they've been born into. Their mind is a blank! Certain events must occur in their lives in order for them to learn that there is such a thing as being dissatisfied.
But for every human being, once they reach a point where they've decided that they are dissatisfied, they can do only one of two things. Either stay dissatisfied or figure out how to get some satisfaction. Don't know how they will accomplish it. I can't say because everybody is an individual and live in the world they were born into. But I can say whining and complaining won't help the situation, no matter who you are or where you're from. That just makes things worse.

Happiness according to former Miss USA Terri Britt is finding God's love for yourself and letting His creations have you in awe of Him.
