Is it Just Me or Do I Have to Delete Notifications Twice

I am starting to think that I am crazy but I swear I delete all my notifications, after dealing with all of them. I go about my business and when I come back the next morning I work my way through the notifications from newest to oldest and when I get to the end, there are always a couple that have already been dealt with and I swear deleted!!
Now if this only happened to me once, I would say sure Iz you forgot to delete the notification but it happens all the time. Not every day, but many days and it just happened again. The last two notifications had already been responded to and liked.
Has this happened to anyone else? or am I delusional or imagining things!!

I am so glad and I am guessing for whatever reason, you didn't forget they just reappear. weird but true.

I get this too and also I find they state five people responded to said post then the next item seven people responded to same said post and commented so I check I commented on all so I check all that pertain to that post even if they have six of these as they are all repeats,

Yes I have also noticed that they repeat the people who respond. I am glad it isn't just me!! lol

Yes it seems that there is some sort of glitch that makes this happen but at least we aren't crazy lol

I dealt with that the other day, and I was starting to wonder if I was getting senile or something and just forgetting to delete my notifications. But since I'm sort of OCD about that, I just know I wasn't forgetting to delete my notifications. So, I'm glad that it wasn't just me it was happening to!

@BelleStarr - Now I'm embarrassed. I have never deleted a notification. I just respond to them ... but never delete them. Should I?

I guess you don't have to but I like to keep things neat so I deal with them and then delete them. It's just the way I operate lol

I have had that a lot too, but not in a long time. I am glad of that too, as I thoufht I was going crazy too, as i know I had delted them, but they were still there. It was so annoying that I did report it to the admin and I thought it had been fixed, at least for me it has, but sorry that it is still a probelm for you. I hope that things get back to normal for you and you don't have that problem ever again.

@BelleStarr It was always a problem for me too, for a oong time, but eventually, I brought it to @mylotbygs attebtuibm and, after that, I never had the problem again, and I am so glad too, as they are so annoying, that is for sure. I thought I had them deleted, but they were back again and that is when I realized that they were uplicates of the ones I had already done.

happens e'ery now'n the to me's well. more oft lately though. i jest figure such's a glitch :) i'd rather get 'em 'gain than to miss one entirely...which i've done.

That may have to do with admin. Post are only deleted with they violate one of the rules

I believe that this is generated because some comments will create 2 notifications, one for your name mentioned and another for the comment. There have been times when the two notifications appear several minutes apart, so you deal with one and delete it only to find the other when you return.
