Television shows

During my schooldays majority of shows were from novels or short stories. These were written by famous authors, Indian or foreign. Either the novel or short stories would be in our curriculum. If not in school they were placed in collage level. Hence by watching the show we could memorise the whole chapter. How easy they were! But the shows shown now a days are either gaming consoles or written by the script writers. Rarely there is a show written by known authors. Even the same could be said of movies. I am not saying it is wrong to have your own storyline but if stories by famous or known authors are used one could watch the same with more interest. Maybe it could even result in one going through the book. Don't you feel so!

I know that I prefer to watch a movie written from a good novel by a know author. There are many good movies from books and novels.

We don't watch much TV as we don't really enjoy the shows. The quality seems to be much lower than it once was.
