I was looking through one of my old posts and got such a laugh from re-reading some of the responses and comments there, that I wondered if you would find this excerpt amusing. In this post (Balloon Bosomed Bimbos) I wrote a limerick making fun of the large-bosomed ladies we see in adverts, and the following is part of the repartee between @Asylum and myself. Asylum responded • I enjoy seeing those naked chests Adorned with voluptuous breasts, And I see nothing wrong With a thin see through thong So from me there will be no protests. Jabo replied • Well now you are showing for sure, That boob-showing bimbos can lure, Would your knees go weak If your gal was a freak, Have you not heard that 'less can be more'? Asylum commented • Just because I begin to perspire To see ladies without their attire It is not just their breasts Where my interest rests But their minds that I really desire. Jabo replied• You've got yourself out of the mire As my thoughts about you were just dire, But now that I find That you like their mind, My opinion has raised a lot higher. (Asylum makes a remark here to someone else stating that he doesn't take as much notice of ladies' breasts as they seem to). Jabo replied • I don't know how you have the cheek To say at those breasts you don't peek, You've spent some time Praising in rhyme So don't say a glance you don't sneak! Asylum commented• Women always achieve the last word Trying to change that would just be absurd, It is pointless to try They will always reply Unless a miracle of some kind occurred. Thanks to Asylum for giving me permission to use his rhymes, and also to @pgntwo who collected all the verses on that thread from various people and put them all together. Do you ever look through your old posts, and find amusing things that you'd forgotten about?

I remember those days very well When on my desktop your Limericks fell I just do not know Why you tormented me so And strained my remaining brain cell

@Asylum Ha - you are lucky that I soon have to go and prepare a meal, so have no time to compose any more rhymes.

@Asylum What fun we have had, that's for sure, Our jibes we would simply endure, We teased each other But that was no bother, As for the rhyming bug there is no cure,

@salonga Thanks, we have a lot of fun with these. Asylum often replies 'in kind' when I write a limerick, not just on the post we are talking about here.

@LadyDuck We wrote these rhymes back in December, but I thought they were worth airing - they made me laugh anyway. I'm pleased that you thought they were funny. You never know, you may find some gems in your old posts too.

I've just re-read these on your original post after posts put up by @pgntwo and @rebelann. For some reason I couldn't like or comment on either of those posts. Don't know why that would be. These are great limericks. I enjoyed them equally as much second time around.

I started a mess, my post is now a zombie as I made the big mistake of using the forward and backslash in my title which rendered it frozen. No one can respond or like it and I can't edit or delete it.

@pgntwo Yes it was December when I wrote that post, and there are so many hilarious responses on it, including yours. Unfortunately with the way this site is set out, the collection you made sits right at the bottom of the post, but it was still helpful to me. It was great to be able to read all the verses together, and I thank you again. I know you took a lot of trouble.

I've looked at old posts before but mainly just to make sure that I spent time with each person that paid me a visit, especially when it's been a while that I was able to spend much time here. Sometimes I look at old posts for answers about things discussed when I don't remember some specifics and other times I need to search out the posts of others for those same reason.
