Asylum and Me - Repartee.

I was looking through one of my old posts and got such a laugh from re-reading some of the responses and comments there, that I wondered if you would find this excerpt amusing. In this post (Balloon Bosomed Bimbos) I wrote a limerick making fun of the large-bosomed ladies we see in adverts, and the following is part of the repartee between @Asylum and myself.
Asylum responded •
I enjoy seeing those naked chests
Adorned with voluptuous breasts,
And I see nothing wrong
With a thin see through thong
So from me there will be no protests.
Jabo replied •
Well now you are showing for sure,
That boob-showing bimbos can lure,
Would your knees go weak
If your gal was a freak,
Have you not heard that 'less can be more'?
Asylum commented •
Just because I begin to perspire
To see ladies without their attire
It is not just their breasts
Where my interest rests
But their minds that I really desire.
Jabo replied•
You've got yourself out of the mire
As my thoughts about you were just dire,
But now that I find
That you like their mind,
My opinion has raised a lot higher.
(Asylum makes a remark here to someone else stating that he doesn't take as much notice of ladies' breasts as they seem to).
Jabo replied •
I don't know how you have the cheek
To say at those breasts you don't peek,
You've spent some time
Praising in rhyme
So don't say a glance you don't sneak!
Asylum commented•
Women always achieve the last word
Trying to change that would just be absurd,
It is pointless to try
They will always reply
Unless a miracle of some kind occurred.
Thanks to Asylum for giving me permission to use his rhymes, and also to @pgntwo who collected all the verses on that thread from various people and put them all together.
Do you ever look through your old posts, and find amusing things that you'd forgotten about?

This was fun - but I hardly have the desire to go back thru my old one, too many and too little time in general.

@AbbyGreenhill I write quite a few rhymes but don't want to repeat myself - that's why I went back to check that post. Since I have my poems tagged it's not that laborious a business.

@pgntwo Yes it was December when I wrote that post, and there are so many hilarious responses on it, including yours.
Unfortunately with the way this site is set out, the collection you made sits right at the bottom of the post, but it was still helpful to me. It was great to be able to read all the verses together, and I thank you again. I know you took a lot of trouble.

I've looked at old posts before but mainly just to make sure that I spent time with each person that paid me a visit, especially when it's been a while that I was able to spend much time here.
Sometimes I look at old posts for answers about things discussed when I don't remember some specifics and other times I need to search out the posts of others for those same reason.

@MarshaMusselman I just went back to this one to check that I hadn't used a particular rhyme, and got entranced by all the hilarious responses and comments on it.

@vandana7 I'd have to hunt to find out, which I'm not doing at present. Getting ready for work as I need to leave in twenty minutes.

I love this. I wish I was quick-witted and imaginative enough to come up with some of these. Instead I shall just have to enjoy the shows you put on. :)

*claps* *applause* Wonderful limericks! You and your friend have rocked the world of large-bosomed women. Loved it. It's like Haiku, but instead of one line, you're putting four.

@ria1606roy Thanks, glad you liked them, but you'd better count again - limericks have five lines
