It's funny when you look at the people who bargain for vegetables and when they go to mcdonalds and dominos they buy bread for price 10x the price of veggies.
it goes to show you that people in this world will pay for poison and bargain for health ..
I wonder why some bread baked in oven has to be pricing high whereas the organic food has to cost low?

It's true! We never bargain in a restaurant but we try to get a better deal at a farmer's market.

that is true. a post on face book says that we must buy the vegetable products of an old woman in the side walk rather than those sold in supermarkets. these people who sell along the side walk need more money than the owners of a supermarket or grocery, and yet, many of us ignore these women

I don't know where you live , but here in Australia , organic produce are expensive .. But I agree with you, people would go more for processed foods than for fresh fruits and veggies ..

Organic produce is more costly here in the Philippines; but I agree many people likes to buy burgers, etc. than vegetables. They are not health-conscious.

I thought about it before responding to the question raised. You know, when we go to the vegetable or meat market, we can bargain as the price is flexible, but when we go to a supermarket or Mcdonald's or KFC, we never bargain and we cannot bargain because the price is fixed already. If we bargain, we would be considered to be very Special people. Do you think that it could be so? Thanks for the discussion.
