I never thought that there are people who literally fly all over the world for Pokemon Go.
It sure comes as a shock when I read it in the newspaper today.
This guy sure has the money and the passion for playing the game.
There are some Pokemons that are region exclusive, and you either play cheat by letting someone uses your account in that region or you fly your way there to catch it.
This guy chooses to fly all over to play the game!
Apparently his mother allows him to follow his passion!
It sure helps that he is a professional gamer who travels everywhere for gaming tournament, and he has a lot of airmiles to use.
Singapore has its first Pokemon master - one who caught them all in the mobile game Pokemon Go.. Read more at straitstimes.com.

But you dont need to travel around the world to complete them. I know someone who lives in the same city but managed to catch em all. What a dedication on his part. At least he is an adult unlike Ash Ketchum who is like 12.

@CaptAlbertWhisker No idea. I do not play this game.
I think his method sure short-cut the process.

That's why he can. Because traveling around the world catching pokemons will actually help build his CV and repertoire as a professional gamer. I read about a guy in Australia doing the same 2 months ago. He quit his job at 26 to go and be a pokemon master.

I think the person mentions in the newspaper is better than the guy in Australia.
At least he is already a professional gamer, so playing Pokemon Go and becomes a pokemon master in one month is understandable.
He does not need to quit his job, since playing game is already his job.

@EddieHands Being a professional gamer, he might be awarded a little more by the Niantec and any sponsor-manufacturer of the game. Besides travelling the world to be a Pokemon master is impossible if you're not really into this stuff, or won't benefit from it.

This is really crazy. But since he is a professional gamer and he has the money to do so, I think it's fine. It might just be a "business trip" or leisure travel to him. As he is already 31 years old, I don't think he needs his mom's permission to do so. Moreover, I think professional gamer is a good job too, as long as he is passionate about it.

This is an interesting news. It seems to be very crazy. This news didn't write more about his family background. But I think he is at least living in a rich family and he doesn't have to study or work so far? He has a great mom who can support him to do this.

@youless His skill will be in demand, as there are many jobs in game development.
He can be a game tester if he wants.
he can also help to develop new games, and take part in the development stage.
I think this skill is a good skill, and nobody can retrench him when he gets old.

He is a professional gamer, and that is his work.
He flies all over the world to take part in gaming tournament.
I think he has a very good mum who loves him and understands him.
Not every mum can accept that her son is a professional in playing game.

I think this game will have more releases to make players go wild again.
I think this game has a lot of commercial potential.
If KFC asks them to design a few special monsters that you can find only in KFC outlets, and you must buy a set meal to get a special ball to catch them, the business will boom, and you will see the restaurant crowded at all hours.

@ekoytyas Yes, in this case, the government will be a big customer.
If the government in Indonesia wants special monsters that are unique to Indonesia in order to attract tourists, it can commission Niatic to program a few monsters that are only in certain places in Indonesia.
It will be a bonus for tourists.

@scheng1 nice, i never think about that kind of idea. Maybe niatic must be coorporate with another company or country maybe, to make some special pokemon that will appear when you come to the country or outlet in specific company like you said above

I wonder how long will this game stay. What you tell us is just the result of money badly spent. I do wish someone would make a more human game, so to say.

It's really surprising that his mother is allowing him to fly all over world to catch Pokemon. The people have become so addicted to the game that neither they foresee their injuries nor care for harming others. Just the other day saw a man driving zig zag in the traffic trying to catch Pokemon all the while I assumed he was in a hurry to reach his destination. Also there are restricted regions where citizens are not permitted. I wonder how he manages them.

His mother allows him to become a professional gamer.
That is already a surprising thing.
I doubt any parent will want their children to travel round the world to compete in gaming tournaments.
Since he is a professional gamer, it will reflect very well on his gaming skill to become a Pokemon master in just one month.
