I can't remember the last time that I watch television that lasted for how many hours. TV used to be the "in" thing back in the days. During my parents' time, if you happen to own a TV, you're considered rich.
Due to my excessive use of the internet, I no longer feel the need to watch television.
How about you?

Youtube is pretty much addicting. We got to learn a lot from it plus we have to option to watch only the videos that we want to see unlike in TV.

Finally getting a cable TV drove me nuts back then, I couldn't peel my eyes off the screen. Now I can't stand TV unless some controversial reality show is on. After a few commercial breaks that feel like forever I'm done.
Loving my Netflix though.

@EMbakes I did think it was available there though At Php 400 or something. Guess I was wrong.
You sure? Well netflix does not have everything. And they take ages before adding more seasons. But they do have some of the nicest TV shows and if you really can't wait for the later seasons, you can always stream them online from another site. But that defeats the purpose of paying for a subscription. Which is a total BS really to be honest.

Netflix, although it seemed like it's not available in our country, is a much better alternative. Commercial breaks tend to spoil the momentum.

@Theresaaiza I thought netflix provides or even exceeds customers' satisfaction. If netflix had that issues in your country then much more here. Maybe that's the reason why it's not that popular here.

I watch the news and a couple of shows. My favorite is Big Bang. Mostly, the TV is off unless I turn it on for company during the day. It is never on on weekends. There is hardly anything worth watching on weekends and nights. We don't have cable, dish, or satellite.

I see. I used to watch Big Bang before, but since I get too busy using the internet, I stop watching it.

But now that Im home for vacation Im spending that little time with my family watching news but after the news I already go back to my laptop or tablet.

Truth be told, I wind up watching the TV shows streaming and binge-style. I would probably get the Dish Network disconnected if it weren't for the fact my 95 year old mother is used to that. It's very hard to adapt to new things at that age.

I'm sure when we get older, our future grand children will complain about us getting use to using the internet. I wonder what's in store for the next generation.Technology is advancing so fast.

I watch the news but with thousands of serials the novelty is lost now.

I watch it but there's never a night when I don't fall asleep in front of it. That may not necessarily be a reflection on the shows.
