Teenagers and their attitudes

I am not that old (just pointing that out). I am 28 so some of these kids are just 5 years younger than me that I work with.
This girl has given attitude for several weeks, I just couldn't imagine maybe because I need a job and bills to pay.
Now I can't book appointments for customers, only supervisors can. So I call her up to do so (and statewhy). She looks right at me and continues doing what she was doing. I thought ok maybe she didn't hear me. Nope, after three times I got another manager to do it, and stated I asked her but she did nothing.
Also, they have a key to override certain things (large items etc). She kept walking away, and I kept having to call the manager over (who was busy doing her things).
This manager saw how annoyed I was getting and called me into the office. I told her these teenagers all have attitudes, and don't do anything. I was on the verge of walking out, and not going back (which I told her this). Why should I go to work, get paid the same as them, do my job and their job.
She talked to the district manager and I which we will be having a meeting this week. She said she knows there is issues, and HR is working on it.But she is getting it all in writing. She said they had meetings with each of these girls, and they are most likely ganging up because they are getting in a lot of trouble.

It's not fair for you to have to do their job and yours-especially if your not getting paid for that.

That is my view as well. Why should I get paid the same amount and do double the work. Make them stay home and I get paid for two.

I guess they are to stupid to know if you do your job you will not get in trouble.

I was talking to an old coworker who I worked with about 10 years ago. She said basically sounds like it, they try everything not to do the work. When asked as the manager left two girls in charge of half of stock and organizing it (which wasn't done), they then lied to her face.

It's ridiculous that they put up with that attitude. If I were a customer and I witnessed someone who could help me deliberately not coming to help when I needed it, I wouldn't be back to that location again for a very long time if I could help it. If that's the way the employees are going to treat the customers who keep their salaries paid, it's time for the store to close its doors for good.
That girl needs a lot of remedial training before she's fit to be a supervisor.
