Are there any movies that you would gladly watch again just because you want to listen to the soundtrack? The background music made the movie! I'm raising my hand. Yes!! Four movies are on my list. Gladiator (2000), starring Russell Crowe and two Korean dramas _ Chuno (The Slave Hunters) (2010) _ Six Flying Dragons (2015) Finally, a movie titled Boxing Helena (1993). The soundtrack included music by a group called “Enigma”. It was soooo good, after watching the film, the next day I went to a music store to find albums by this group. It was that good! The movies may have made my list for the best movies of the century. But the movie soundtrack was the best music of millennium!! Some may disagree. But these are my picks and I'm sticking to them!

I sometimes really the enjoy the music in films but when the credits come up, I'm really surprised at how many songs were used. Some I don't really notice.

I don't remember the Gladiator soundtrack actually. The theme for the first Maginificient 7 movie is one that just about everyone knows.

I think 'the good the bad and the ugly' was a hit because of both the story and the b.m. were equally contributing

My obvious movie picks would be musicals. I think The Sound of Music is a very good one, a classic. My daughter loves Camp Rock and Hairspray. If I would choose from non-musicals, I would go for all of The Lord of the Rings movies. But my absolute all-time favorite is The Prince of Egypt.

Yessss... Hans Zimmer gives real good soundtrack, like you stated for Gladiator, and even The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar... these are some of my favourites. Even my brother loves his soundtracks, so much that soon after watching the movie, he would download the entire soundtrack

There's also batman forever, which has an amazing soundtrack that's definitely better than the movie itself. Also Juno. We have all heard of the amazing Purple Rain, a song by prince, but few people know about the movie. It is often the soundrtrack that makes the movie what it is - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Psycho? These movies are great by themselves, but what makes them memorable and epic is the chilling soundtrack. There are umpteen movies I would watch again just for the soundtrack (including Gladiator)

I think the soundtrack to O Brother, Where Art Thou was infinitely better than the movie. I may be in the minority, but I also think the soundtrack to The Rocky Horror Picture Show was better than the film. I love The Blues Brothers, but I'd say half the fun of that film is the soundtrack!! Especially Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin! And Tommy -- superb soundtrack (okay, and seeing Roger Daltrey shirtless )!!
