Where did the Money Go?

When I left for work, I had 25 cents for today on myLot. When I got home, it was eight cents. I'm not sure what happened. Am I mistaken? I don't understand.
Has this ever happened to you here, or somewhere else. I am sure there is a logical explanation but I don't see it right now.

I think as @sharon6345 says possibly a post was deleted although it seems a lot to lose.

I can only suggest that you misread the figures. I find that quite easy to do, since the four decimal places is quite confusing. It is all too easy, I find, to read quickly and remember $0.0250 as 25 cents and then, later to see $0.0800 (correctly) as 8 cents.
Very occasionally the earnings figures are recalculated because errors in the system have shown incorrect figures but it's very unlikely that this is the explanation. As far as I know, too, earnings are never deducted when a discussion is deleted. I have seen this stated by the owner some time ago and, to the best of my knowledge, there has been no change there.
By far the most likely explanation is "personal human error", I'm afraid!

@Mike197602 When an admin removes it, you lose all the money earned on it. I don't know what was deleted or why.

I've deleted literally hundreds of posts and not had any money removed so far.

That's very strange. I hope administration can answer this for you. I have never had this happen here but it did happen elsewhere and it annoyed me.

Im not checking my before and after earnings for the day so I cant be sure if this happened to me.. Hmm I think Ill make an auditing too..
